What a Day for the Priory Swim Team!

12 Jan What a Day for the Priory Swim Team!

Congratulations to all our swimmers who represented the college at the Ulster Secondary Schools Swimming Championships on Saturday 11th January.

We had 18 swimmers participating, one of the largest and youngest teams. Although our swimmers didn’t win anything they made their mark, with nearly every swimmer producing Personal Best times and their enthusiasm and camaraderie was commendable. There were many positive comments from Gala Officials and spectators cheered along wholeheartedly.

The object of Ulster Schools Swimming is to get youngsters and especially non Club swimmers representing their school and Priory Integrated College are very much leading the way in achieving this.

A big thank you has to go out to Mr Diamond, Miss Moore and the many parents who gave of their time acting as Race Referees, were amazing poolside chaperones and Official Gala  timekeepers.

Team Priory are now looking forward to competing in the Ulster Schools Relay Gala at Easter.
